On August 1st, an online world camp that delivered hope to the hearts of East Africans ended the three-day long campaign.

In Africa, the Internet was expensive and there were few people who owned smartphones, so it was difficult to invite them, but the members of the East African IYF branch worked together and prepared a total of 10,626 people, and 55 million people received it through 33 broadcasters. I could be with the citizens.

IYF Uganda has continued to maintain close relations by signing MOUs with various government agencies, universities, and companies. When requesting a congratulatory speech for this East Africa World Camp, many government and university officials who have worked with them happily sent congratulatory speeches and sponsored the logo. In addition, it participated as a panel of Youth Connect, a program for planning the future of youth, and told the stories to the students participating in the forum about how they overcame the difficulties they faced in their lives.

An unprecedented online online event that has attracted millions of young people from all over the world. When participating in the camp, I encourage you to be creative. The global epidemic of the coronavirus has limited freedom of passage and physical exchange, but this cannot stop the exchange of information and even the exchange of ideas.
The reason is that through the information revolution, the whole world is condensed on your smartphone. This online world camp is designed to stimulate young people to participate in the development of their communities. This will be a great opportunity to develop an attitude.
We hope you will find fruitful results, and I ask you to put into practice all the useful ideas that have come out of this 2020 Online World Camp.”

We have signed a contract so that Pastor Park’s lecture can be held once a week, and we plan to give a world camp lecture once a week. Seruwada Bishop decided to help keep it airing whenever there was an event.

Ajam Channel U broadcaster has allowed the final 10 teams of talent shows from all countries in the East to enter the program.

At Azam TV Channel U, I was open to IYF activities and wanted to be with all programs. For the East African Talent Show, the IYF Talent Show video and the World Camp Opening Ceremony program were made available on their TV. It promised to injure the first, second, and third place in advertisements and finals five times a day, and decided to broadcast GBS contents in the future.

Channel 44, the largest Christian broadcasting station in Uganda, is holding an MOU with Kenya GBS TV after an online Bible seminar and CLF. Pastor Ock Soo Park’s lecture will be aired once a day, and the World Camp lecture is also edited and aired every day.

At this World Camp, a fresh talent show was held to show the talents and talents of East African youth. A total of 400 teams applied from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania, and a total of 31 teams from Uganda participated. As the number of IYF Facebook channel followers in each country in East Africa increased through God Talent, the World Camp was promoted, and at the same time, many students who did not know IYF learned about IYF.

“The pastor said that God knows that we cannot keep the law. Also, Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath and those who call on His name are forgiven. Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath and whatever burden he bears. Regardless of what he said, he said to lay down and rest. Also, Pastor Park emphasized that the law is the shadow of good things to come. All our sins were forgiven. When Jesus came, we were all liberated from our sins. By death our sins were washed away and made us holy. Our sins are also over.”

“The true meaning of the Sabbath is Jesus. The reason Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath is because he takes off all our burdens on that day. The true meaning of the Sabbath is Jesus, who washed away our sins and gave us true Sabbath and freedom. Do not look to the law, but look to Jesus. Jesus came and forgiven all our sins. Jesus came and our sins are forgiven through the shed of blood. We are righteous and forgiven through the blood of Jesus. You can come before God.”

In particular, as all the fresh talent participants participated in the camp, many Ugandan students were able to listen to God’s Word. Among them, while listening to Pastor Ock Soo Park’s words, many students received salvation and expressed their joy and gratitude for receiving salvation by sending their testimonies of salvation.

The Uganda branch contacted each person connected through the last IYF World Camp and events, and the branch members also invited their families and poured out their hearts. As a result, close to 2,000 people filed online, far more than expected.

In the meantime, connected pastors also attended the World Camp, gathering 10, 15, and 20 members of their church’s youth and congregation to listen to the word on a small cell phone, and those who attended sent their testimonies every hour.

On the other hand, IYF Uganda members attended as teachers and shared links every hour so that students in their class could attend. Also, because it was difficult for the ZOOM group to attend, they personally called and led participants through fellowship.

Zuma Amos
“First of all, I would like to thank you for being able to participate in the 2020 World Camp. This World Camp has given me many opportunities to make a constructive change in my life. A woman caught in adultery while listening to lectures in the morning and yesterday evening. What I can confess is that through Jesus I was actually able to ask God to set me free, but I was living with a lot of guilt on my shoulders, and what I feel now is that I have a better relationship with God. is.”

Deborch
“If we are sinners, we are thinking that the cross of Jesus is a failure, because Jesus Christ has washed away all our sins. Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath and it is a good thing to come. We are the law. Can’t be slaves to us. Jesus has given us real rest.”

Mutegeji Emmanuel
“Thank God for allowing me to attend the 2020 World Camp. My life has nothing to do with God. But through Pastor Park’s lecture, my heart and God were connected. Daniel said all thoughts came up, but God’s As the pastor said, the reason God gave the law through John 8:1 is that the law is the shadow of good things to come, and Jesus paid for all my sins, so I am a righteous man and I am perfect. ”

Baruku Erikan
“The intent of the law is to convict us of our sins. We all have broken the law. But Jesus died for our sins. We are saved from our sins. By keeping the law, we are saved. They can never be justified. If they realize how they become righteous before God in this regretful and fearful situation like Corona 19, people will be free from sin and God will guide them.”

Michael
“In the old covenant we were enemies of God, but in the new covenant we became our God and became a sure man of God. We learned that the old covenant not only separated us from God but also brought death. This is why the woman caught during adultery in John 8 was stoned to death, but no one was able to help. I am grateful that I was able to learn that I was free from sin because of the words Jesus said on the cross, “It is finished”. “It is finished” is a word that confirms that I have been washed out at once. Thank you for taking me free from the bondage of sin.”

Meweveze Peter Paul
“I used to cry everyday thinking that I was a sinner, but now I realize the truth of Romans 3:23. Jesus came to this world to save us from our sins, and that is what Jesus bleeds as he died on the cross, and we That’s why he said, “It is finished,” meaning that our sins have been resolved forever, and if we say that we are sinners, we are rejecting the cross of Jesus. I am a sinner, but I am no longer a sinner if Jesus has forgiven them, and I do not believe my thoughts because we should not believe our thoughts.”

Due to the recent coronavirus, Ugandan people spend their free lives only at home without being able to face each other while practicing’social distance’ due to the coronavirus, especially due to economic difficulties. The online world camp invigorated such Ugandan people, brought light and hope, and found peace in the heart.

We thank God for working in Uganda through the online world camp, and we hope to connect with more young students in Uganda through future programs such as Mind Camp and Toyo Academy, and to grow in God.

[Sermon] When I looked at the brass serpent, I lived.

adapted from the book Road to Faith_The Lamb of God Takes away the Sins of the World (Part 11)

The Israelites were enslaved in Egypt and went through many trials and difficulties. Then, with God’s grace, they left Egypt and went to the land of Canaan. However, even if a little problem arises without remembering God’s deliverance of themselves from Egypt, of overcoming many enemies, protection with pillars of fire and clouds, manna in the wilderness, and water coming out of the rock. I complained and resented. In Numbers chapter 21, the Israelites resent God because they were hurt by the road.

Everyone who was bitten by a serpent looked up and lived.
God sent a fiery serpent to the Israelites who were full of resentment. Fiery snakes crawled around in the tent, and people were bitten by fire snakes and died. Then the Israelites begged Moses.
“Pray to Jehovah, please let the fiery serpent go away!”
Moses prayed, but God did not let the fiery serpent leave. Instead, he said:
“Make a fire snake and put it on a pole. Anyone who is bitten by a snake will live by looking at it.”
Moses made a fiery serpent out of bronze and hung it on a pole. In the Bible it is written, “Everyone who is bitten by a snake looked at the brass serpent and lived.” How do you live when you look at a brass snake bitten by a fiery snake? In John 3, Jesus said about this.
“As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:14-16).
Each word in the Bible has a meaning. Wine represents joy. Where there is joy, wine appears. Oil represents the Holy Spirit. Gold represents the glory of God, silver represents the price of redemption, and bronze represents judgment. The brass serpent on the pole represents’the judged serpent’. It means that death came because of the fiery serpent, and that fiery serpent was judged. In other words, death came because of sin, and sin was judged. The brass serpent on the pole refers to Jesus Christ on the cross.

Salvation is only by looking at Jesus crucified
. Imagine that a man who is bitten by a fiery serpent and his son talks.
“Father, when you look at the brass snake, it is alive. Look at the brass snake.”
“Don’t say useless! I’m going to die because of the poison spreading in my body. Can you live by looking at the brass snake?”
“Father, look at me.”
“Well, don’t be bullshit!”
“Father, look at me anyway.”
“Stop it!”
“It’s not possible. Then the father dies. I will force my father to see the brass snake.”
The son took his father to the place of the brass serpent and made him look up and look. Then, the poison of the snake inside the body disappeared.
“This is really amazing! When I looked at the brass snake, my body was full!”
Salvation is very simple. All you have to do is look at Jesus crucified.
‘The Israelites blamed God, so a fiery serpent came. The fiery serpent came because of sin. The brass serpent means that the serpent was judged, meaning that our sins were judged. Then the sin is over!’
The cross is not simply to mark Christianity or to look good. Look at the cross. The cross is the place where our sins were judged by the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. This is where sin ends, curse ends, judgment ends, and suffering ends. The moment we realize that, we are tormented and suffering because of our sins, and then we look at the cross.
‘The cross on which the Lord ran! On that cross, Jesus forgave my sins!’

A ring of the Arius family…
There is a movie called’Ben-Hur’. The characters Ben-Hur and Metsala were friends when they were young. As they grew up, Ben-Hur and Metsala, a Jew, and Metsala, a Roman, have different ideologies and become enemies of each other. After returning to Judea, Metsala became a tribune over Jerusalem and turned Ben-Hur into a rowing slave on a Roman ship. Shortly thereafter, Archon Arius, Rome’s supreme authority, leads his fleet out into the sea to wipe out the pirates, where Ben-Hur boards a rowing boat. Soon there is a fierce battle between the Romans and the pirates, and during the fight, Arius falls into the sea. Ben-Hur sees the scene and jumps into the sea, rescues Arius, and places it on the large wooden board of the broken ship.
When Arius wakes up and sees his ship engulfed in flames, he tries to kill himself, but Ben-Hur grabs his arm and takes the sword. After a while, ships flock, and I think Arius might be a pirate, but as the ships approached, it was a Roman fleet. As Arius got on board, a general reports that he’lost only two ships and annihilated the pirates’.
Returning to Rome, Arius adopts Ben-Hur as his adopted son, and puts a seal ring from generation to generation on Ben-Hur’s finger. Ben-Hur thinks of her mother and younger sister and goes back to Judea to meet Metsala. Before going, send a gift to Metsala with the words “From the son of Arius”. Metsala saw the gift and said, “Did Arius the Archon have a son?” Let’s say, the officer next to you has a son who has recently adopted him. Then Ben-Hur appears, and Metsala is surprised.
“What witchcraft did you become the son of Arius?”
“You are the main character of magic! You sent me to a slave ship and I saved Arius from the battlefield.”
Then, “You know the mark, right?” And put the seal of the seal on the tablet and show it to Metsala. The Metsala is embarrassed because Ben-Hur is the son of the most powerful consul in Rome, not the previous Ben-Hur. Says Ben Hur.
“Bring me the news of my mother and my sister. Then I will forget everything.”
“It must be approved by the governor.”
“Get permission!”
If Ben-Hur became the son of Arius and wore the family ring, he would still have to be condemned by Metsala if he did not know its ability, but Ben-Hur knew the power of the’Arius Family’s Signet Ring’.

Look at the
cross again There is power in the cross. Satan often whispers to us. “You lied! You did something bad!” The fact that we have sinned makes us sad and tormented. They can’t breathe properly and make them anxious. Satan constantly condemns us. “Because you have sinned, God will hate you, punish you, and forsake you!” That’s when we look at the brass serpent and the cross.
‘Satan, that’s right. I have sinned. But in front of that cross, sin is not a sin. All my sins are forgiven on that cross. Sin is over there! The judgment is over!’
When he looked at the brass serpent, he lived. The Israelites were bitten by a fiery serpent, and they were all healed when they looked at the serpent. Likewise, when Satan taunts and torments us for sin, looking at the cross will free us from that suffering. Even if you say, “You lied!”, you might say,’Jesus was crucified! There the sins I lied to are over and all the sins are over!’ Just do it. The Bible certainly says that.
There is no record of our sins anywhere in the world or before God. All the blood of Jesus shed on the cross was blotted out. There is nowhere to condemn us. The blood shed on the cross washed all sins as white as snow.

He was not atoned for as a treasure that would disappear like gold or silver, but was atoned for by
the blood of Jesus, the Lamb of the Holy God.

This hymn was once sung by mouth, but can now be sung by heart.

Atonement Atonement Lord Jesus Atonement for my sins
Hallelujah Praise together with the sound of
Atonement with His blood

We were atoned for not by our good deeds, by our efforts or hard work, but by grace, and by the blood of Jesus Christ. God has put stories of salvation in every corner of the Bible to teach you how the blood of Jesus washed away our sins.
The Israelites sinned against God and were bitten by fiery serpents and died, looking at the brass serpent. At first we only know the contents of this Bible story. Then, through God’s grace, you learn the meaning of it. The brass serpent refers to Jesus on the cross. “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” (John 3:14-15) Jesus took our sins and was judged on the cross. All our sins ended on the cross. There are no more sins left to be judged. So our hearts are freed from sin and we have true freedom.
Those who have accepted the word of God live brightly after the curse ends and pain and sorrow in their hearts. When you are deceived by Satan and sinned, look at the cross again. ‘The judgment of my sin is over there!’ God has given us a joyful and joyful life by grace free of charge. May we all rejoice and rejoice in this Gospel and become people who preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

[Summer Camp] The 49th online summer camp for the whole family begins!

The Good News Mission is holding the ’49th Online Summer Camp for the Whole Family (hereinafter referred to as Summer Camp)’ from August 19 to 22 for 4 days.

This camp is conducted with Internet video content, and you can participate through ZOOM, YouTube (Good News TV), Facebook (goodnews), and Good News Mission website and’Good News TV’ app.

The Good News Mission's summer camp will be held online in the 49th anniversary.
The Good News Mission’s summer camp will be held online in the 49th anniversary.

The Good News Mission held the first faith camp in Yeongdong and Daegu in 1972, has been held in Yeongdong and Daejeon, Daedeok (Gimcheon-si) training center in 1993, and Gangneung training center in 2007. It is held every summer and winter. With Corona 19, most of the events are switched to non-face-to-face online, and Good News Mission is holding the 49th’Summer Camp’ online.

Looking at the contents, existing programs such as morning/evening words, gospel classes, re-gospel classes, performances, and academies are provided as online videos. In particular, the academy includes [Fellowship of Saints-Missionary Hak-cheol Kim], [Family of Faith-Missionary Heon-deok Lee], [Induction of the Holy Spirit-Missionary Youngkuk Park], [Mission History-Pastor Han-Gyu Lee], [Life of Faith-Missionary Young-Shin Oh], [Child Education -Pastor Gyuyoon Cho], [Mission-Missionary Jaehoon Shin], [Evangelism-Pastor Youngjoo Park], [Prayer Life-Pastor Ohyoon Hong], [Spiritual Change-Pastor Jinsung Kim], [Affliction of Christians-Missionary Kwangbo Lee], [Christian Obedience-Dohyun Kim Missionaries] and other major lecturers can listen to the best stage of the Gracias Choir, which has won the leading international choir festivals at home and abroad, such as the 1st prize at the German Markt Oberdorf International Choir Festival, which was hard to see in camps. . Above all, Pastor Ock Soo Park, the founder of Good News Mission, as the main lecturer, delivers the true Gospel of forgiveness of sins, helping participants with spiritual growth through morning and evening talks for 4 days and freeing people from sin.

Online summer camp opens

On the evening of the 19th at 7:30 pm, the first night of the summer camp was opened.

Pastor Min-cheol Lim (Good News Busan Daeyeon Church), the general president of Good News Mission, prayed and hoped that God would bless all the people who listen to the Word through this retreat to be free from sin and despair and free from diseases. , He expressed his hopes that it will be a comfort camp to all those suffering from corona.

There was also a time to look back at the footsteps of God’s work through the mission and watch the’Introduction Video for Missions-Latin America Edition’.
Missions to Latin America, which seemed vague at first, seemed reckless, as if trying to light wet firewood. Just as firewood, which seemed to be extinguished after only smoke, started to catch fire and grows out of control, missions in Latin America are also bringing about the great work of the Gospel according to God’s promise.

Missionary Introduction Video-Latin America

Missionary Joo Seong Joo / Peru Good News Lima Church
On March 25, 1995, when our family arrived at San Jose Airport, Costa Rica, we didn’t know Spanish or English. I was held at customs for three hours because I didn’t know the language, and when I left the airport, I looked up at the sky and shouted. ‘God, we are leaving. Where do we go now?’ After that, I waited outside the airport for a few hours and asked,’Are you pastor Seongju Jo? My friend, a Korean missionary
, came here without any connection, so I greeted you in an urgent heart. God has prepared everything for us.

Evangelist Isaac / The First Fruit of Mission in Mexico
A Korean missionary approached me while reading Gospel comics by Chic Publishing Co. on the subway. He wasn’t good at Spanish, but he said he knew the book, and it became the first fruit of the Good News Mexican Church. In the end, I was saved in 1994 after 5 months and I have been serving the Lord until now.

Missionary Bum-seop Kim / Good News Sao Paulo Church in Brazil
We couldn’t do anything, but all of this was possible because there was a servant and church of God who visited Central and South America and led our hearts. I give all this glory to God.

During the performance time, I watched the play’Taming the Tomboy’ prepared by Jeonju Church. This story is one of Shakespeare’s five major comedies, and it adapts the process of being tamed by Katarina the tomboy with Petruccio as a modern Korean drama. In the drama, when the eldest daughter, Hyun-joo, was in the same heart as her husband, Sung-hyun, when Sung-hyun told him to do the moon, Hyeon-ju could also say that he did the moon. have. We say we are sinners because we sin every day. However, God said that he saw us and said that he was righteous, and he delivered a message that he hoped that the attendees would also become like God.

‘Taming the Tomboy’ play

As this camp was held online, we could see the stage of the Gracias Choir in particular. The choir added more joy and happiness by presenting beautiful music and songs to the participants through video.

Pastor Ock Soo Park’s message
Ephesians 2:1-10

“If we are sinners and righteous, God is not a righteous judge. God cannot justify sinners. So he sends Jesus to wash our sins away like snow and then justifies us.

Romans 3:23, 24 We are free of charge by the grace of God, we did nothing but Jesus did everything to justify us and we became justified We have sinned, but because Jesus suffered all the punishment for that sin, we have been punished for us. You are justifying.

There are many thoughts within me. Thoughts are divided into two. Do not follow the voice of the evil spirit. Receive the word of Jesus.

Jesus was crucified to death and forgiven all our sins. So we are not sinners. It is said to be a righteous person. Satan tricks us and makes us sinners.

Now, don’t be fooled by Satan, read the Bible and believe that my sins are cleansed and clean by the blood of Jesus. Then I believe that God’s grace and blessings will overflow.”

-Pastor Ock Soo Park’s sermon

Brother Man-Je Kim / Good News Ulsan Church Since I was
separated from the church for a long time, I felt so great that I did not want to believe in the church. In my mind, the gospel I heard when I was young was blurred a lot. I recently had a bad thing and knew how to live my life as a sinner. However, at this conference, the pastor said that evil spirits lead us to ruin in gambling and crime, and those words seemed to tell my story. The pastor preached the Gospel through the words of Ephesians 2, and when we heard that God made us righteous freely by grace, we became confident of salvation. I am very happy to hear this message and receive the forgiveness of my sins through God’s grace.

Sister Mija Kim / Good News Gangdong Church
I heard that the Seoul area decided to do 20 times. At that time, I remembered those who couldn’t register because I could do it in my mind. The pastor said that we should do heart-breaking training beyond the burden rather than the result. I made up my mind and sent KakaoTalk to 500 people today. While sending, why did you send it in mind? Who are you? How did you know? I kept thinking about what to do if I swear, but remembering God who worked with Jacob, I sent it with hope. But why did you send one person? No one told me not to send it.
It was amazing. Rather, they sent me a reply saying thank you and thank you. God’s work is done by God. I am grateful to the Lord who works through me in delivering life, and I do not know now, but I believe that there must be someone prepared by God to receive salvation. Thank you for giving us a happy retreat where we can use and look back a little more with the heart of the Lord.

Sister Eunjung Choi / Good News Gangdong Church
This summer camp told me to invite people who would like to invite without setting my standards.
I was wondering that Jehovah would work. When I received this message, I asked 30 people to evangelize, so I set up a list of contacts and started calling one by one. Because of that, there were about 20 people who wanted to listen to the Word. Among them are friends who are on the verge of divorce, acquaintances whose heart is difficult because of their husband’s unconsciousness, young men who left the church before, and brothers and sisters who left with disbelief. I talked about my heart while talking with people like this and that, and I became happy to share with them. Thanks to the online summer camp, it was time to socialize and share hearts with so many people.
But again, he asked me to invite 50 people. But when I opened the contact information again, there were people to invite again. Amazingly.
He said that it is not the end of the invitation, but that there is a lot of difference between the ones who spend a little bit more and not. I want to hear the word at least once until the end of the camp, so I ask God for the hearts of the invited people and pray. This camp seems to be a happier camp than any other camp.

Sister Shin Hyun-sook / Good News Hanbat Church
I contacted an alumni who had not heard the gospel even though they had heard the Gospel before this camp. I was very grateful to see my story listened to me so well that I was in great trouble due to the rainy season recently. In addition, the head of a regular hair salon was also invited, and he first told the church story and said,’I am looking for a place to deliver the truth.’ I naturally invited to the camp and promised to listen to the Word. I was so grateful to be able to meet each one of the people God has prepared for me, as I said that there were seven thousand people who did not kneel to Baal.

The camp schedule begins on the 20th. We look forward to seeing God’s precious and grateful testimonies overflowing with the hearts of each participant in the continuing camp.

Next, Pastor Ock Soo Park delivered a message about God’s providence through the story of General Naaman ‘s maidservant .

Naaman’s maidservant fell into despair after being taken as prisoner, but her life changed as she realized God’s providence,’If you go before the prophet Elisha, your master’s leprosy will be healed.’ At that time there were many who knew the prophet Elisha as the great servant of God, but not many believed. I was a sinner, but I was cleansed by the cross. Even if it doesn’t match my thoughts, if God says that your are righteous, then you are righteous.”

Brother Sung-Wook Oh, President of C-YA Europe

Following this, Brother Sungwook Oh, chairman of C-YA Europe, reported on the C-YA Online World Camp. In this camp, various youths from all over the world participated in various programs with more and more people online. Participants listened to the Word and shared about their hearts in group fellowships thus becoming closer to God in their hearts, and the European church also grew spiritually, as teachers were selected for the camp. In addition, he reported on the camp, hoping that the camp participants will become gospel workers and take steps together.

CLF Europe Advisor Pastor Ryu Hong-Yeol

Finally, there was a message and prayer from Pastor Ryu Hong-Yeol, a CLF European advisor. Pastor Hong-Yeol Ryu expressed his desire for European pastors to participate in the richer Gospel history online. He said that knowing God’s will and promise renews us, and that European pastors heard the Gospel in order to convey the heart of Jesus powerfully to Europe. We ended today’s meeting with a prayer with the hope that we will all live as gospel workers.

Many people know Jesus, but they live with a lot of pain in their hearts because they are not connected to their own hearts. It is a great blessing from God to be able to believe in the Gospel in this age. And this Gospel is spreading powerfully to Europe in a very fast and diverse way beyond our thoughts. Through the Word, we hope every day that European pastors and brothers and sisters unite in God, and God’s will lead us to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

When you throw away your way and your thoughts

King Ahasuerus’ decree came down to the Persian Empire. The record contained an order to kill all Jews. Queen Esther went to the king without looking back on her life, saying,’If I die, I will die,’ as directed by Mordecai, a Jew who raised her. Peter thought he should not preach the gospel to the Gentiles. However, he put down his thoughts in front of the words,’Do not make you deceive what God has made clean.’ God still works through people who throw away their thoughts and methods in front of the Word.

If you die, you will die Esther 4: 4-17

When King Ahasuerus ruled the Persian Empire, Prime Minister Haman made plans to kill all the Jews when Mordecai did not bow down to him. The Jews claimed that they did not obey the king’s law and sought to destroy the king. The king gave Haman a signet ring to make a decree in the king’s name all over the country. It was told to kill all Jews and take property on the day of December 13th. The Jews were so amazed and sad that they wore sackcloth and fasted and cried out to God.
At that time, Queen Esther heard the news that her cousin Mordecai was wearing sackcloth and reached the door of the palace. Esther and Mordecai were also Jews. Esther, who did not know the English until then, sent an eunuch to find out what had happened to Mordecai. Mordecai showed the eunuch a decree to destroy the Jews. Then she asked Esther to go to the king and tell her to seek earnestly for the people of Judah. When Esther heard Mordecai’s words, she fell into trouble. It was because the king did not call, but if he went on, he would be killed, and the king had to deliver the gold scepter to live.
Mordecai told Esther again through the eunuch. “You are in a royal palace, so do not think that you will be alone. At this time, if you are silent and have no words, the Jews will be released and saved by other means, but you and your father’s house will be destroyed. Who knows if it is not for this time that you have won the crown of the queen!” Esther changed her mind when she heard Mordecai’s words. In obedience to Mordecai’s words, “I will go to the king in violation of the ordinance, and if I die, I will die.” And went to the king. But just that day, King Ahasuerus sat down towards the door and saw Esther. Esther looked so lovely that she could live by pushing out the gold scepter. After that, Esther told the king everything and worked to save the people of Judah.
In this way, God works to save lives through those who give up their mind to protect themselves and obey God’s Word.

Do not be vulgar
Acts 10:1-16

Jesus spoke to his disciples before he was resurrected and ascended to heaven. “But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, all Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” The disciples who received the Holy Spirit preached the Gospel to many people who lived and spoken differently.
Many people were saved because Jesus also worked through Peter and John. But it only happened in Jerusalem. However, when great persecution occurred in Jerusalem, the scattered saints were led by the Holy Spirit to preach the gospel in Samaria and to the Ethiopian eunuch. Still, the disciples still thought it was illegal to preach the gospel to the Gentiles. It was different from the heart of God who wanted to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth.
God showed Cornelius a vision to invite Peter to listen to the Word to save Cornelius, a Gentile. Peter also showed a vision of a large bowl of beasts coming down from heaven and told him to eat them. Peter replied, “I have not eaten anything that is deceptive and unclean at any time.” Then I heard a voice saying, “Do not deceive you what God has made clean.” After this happened three times, the vessel went up to heaven. Peter doesn’t know what the vision he saw means, but two of Cornelius’ servants came to him. Then the Holy Spirit spoke to Peter. “Do not doubt, go together. I have sent them.” Peter went to Cornelius’ house and preached the gospel to those who were gathered. All those who heard the Word were saved and received the Holy Spirit as a gift. When Peter delivered this news to his apostles and brothers in Judea, people glorified God, who gave the Holy Spirit to the Gentiles as well.
There are times when our right thoughts block God’s will to preach the Gospel. When we put our thoughts down and accept the will of God, God works through us with power.

During the National Contemplation Class, I heard a mentor telling me to know myself and seek advice from people around me. Through this, I realized that it is more important to figure out what kind of disposition you are rather than to study blindly.

Mind lecture that makes you dream of a new change in your mind

Ju-Hyun Jang, an education committee member in charge of the Mind Lecture in the middle school, asked the question, “How can I stand before God” along with Matthew 26:20-28. He also said that the blood of Jesus is God’s ability to protect us from calamities, so we must stand on the blood of Jesus.

Education Commissioner Oh Young-shin, who was in charge of the high school, said through Psalm 121:1–2 that he stepped out even though it didn’t seem to be in his own eyes, and at that time, he could see God’s amazing work and guidance, and we have a bright and healthy heart. I delivered a message that I could.

Education Commissioner Kim Si- hyuk of Unnam High School said that if everyone commits a sin, they have no choice but to condemn themselves and suffer. However, unlike Judas Iscariot, Peter was able to turn his heart to know that Jesus died while bleeding on the cross for my sins and was able to be used in the work of the gospel. I felt grateful that the reason Jesus died on the cross was for our sins.

Youth camp where everyone is with you with all your heart

This camp was held online, so there was a limit to the active promotion. However, more than 2,000 students from Gwangju and Jeonnam were able to join thanks to the students’ direct footsteps and publicity.

I always avoided invitations to camp because I thought my friends would refuse. But Mom said that what you are saying comes from your thoughts, and that God will bring your friends to this camp. When I listened to my mom and asked my friends, I was surprised that my friends were active, contrary to my expectations. Also, while listening to the Mind Lecture, I heard that God makes things that seem impossible to us. I always avoided things that seemed impossible, but I realized that if I believed in the Word of God, everything was possible. I was happy to be with my friends in this online camp, and I was so grateful that God gave me the conditions to invite my friends.

1,240 students from all over the world, including Myanmar, Vietnam, Benin, and Ivory Coast, attended this camp as well as Korean students. Students had a great time participating in all programs with local teachers. In addition, through the mind lecture, we were able to escape from the pain of sin and move toward happiness.

At this online World Youth Camp, students gained happiness and hope by exchanging with a variety of friends and building up their minds through the Word. I am grateful to God when I think of them who will go back to the world and cover the world with waves of happiness.

Seeds of Happiness Planted by 2020 Online Youth Camp

The hearts of Busan students were filled with happiness through the 2020 Online Youth Camp (hereinafter referred to as the Student Camp) held from August 7 (Fri) to 10 (Mon). This camp, which received 2,165 students from Busan, revealed and connected the hearts of students who had collapsed due to Corona 19 through various and informative programs. In particular, the students who heard the news of the camp directly invited their friends around and participated in the program together, and were able to experience double happiness by sharing joy with their friends.

▎ Students’ shoulders are shaken by a variety of programs.

The morning program of this student camp was operated by the same program in all regions, but the afternoon program was operated differently by region. In the Busan area, various programs such as △Zoom-in (Zoom Escape) prepared by Good News Co. alumni, △, △Line Bell, △Scavenger Hunt (to Busan), etc. I enjoyed it.

Scavenger Hunt (to Busan), held on the second day of the camp, is an online cooperative survival game set to find a vaccine for the zombie virus. Students who participated in this game were able to strengthen their sense of cooperation and interact naturally by completing the given missions step by step with team members.

“This is the first time I participated in the student camp, and it was burdensome to be the team leader, but it was really fun to get acquainted with people I saw for the first time through Zoom and solving the game together. I also opened my heart to seeing how they collaborated together. There were many competitors during the Scavenger Hunt, but I was able to cooperate with the team members to win first place. I would like to participate again if this opportunity comes next.” -Kim Hyun-woo (2nd year of high school)

Next, on the third day of the camp, “Who am I”, which was conducted on the third day of the camp, is an adaptation of the existing MBTI personality type test program to the level of middle and high school students. In this program, a short conte video that shows the behavior differently depending on the personality type in the same situation was shown, raising the interest of the students, while allowing the students to easily grasp their personality type. After the students grasped their personality type, they formed a group with students of the same type to discuss the topic of’Three Items I Want to Take to the Uninhabited Island’, and the representatives of each group had time to present the discussion.

“When I first said that I was doing MBTI, each person has a different personality, so I wondered if this was correct and I didn’t have a lot of trust. However, as I followed the program, it was amazing to see the results that really fit my personality. The moderator gave me an explanation that fits my personality, telling me which things I should be more interested in and what parts of my personality should be supplemented. I felt that I should not ignore them just because they are different from me, but that their hearts should flow as they match each other’s hearts. It was a very fun and informative time.” -Haeun Ryu (3rd grade high school)

Afternoon section prepared by alumni in the Busan area (“Who am I” by MBTI)
In the afternoon of the third day, a’line bell’ was held following <“Who am I” by MBTI. This is an upgraded version of Golden Bell, which complements and improves the existing Golden Bell to meet the characteristics of online.

“When I tried to run the Golden Bell online, there were a lot of restrictions. ‘How can I make a Golden Bell where everyone can participate happily without being marginalized?’ Thoughtful, I encountered many problems. However, when I continued to prepare with the mind of’I have to do this,’ I could see a path open in a good direction and I was able to make a line bell, an upgraded version of the Golden Bell. On the same day, when the program was conducted with the belief that’students will surely enjoy,’ I could see the participants enjoyed.” -Danbi Shin, Line Bell Operation Team

‘Linebell’, an afternoon section prepared by alumni in Busan
Students who had been exhausted from the academic competition for a while, escaped from the competitive structure through the linebell, and was happy to solve problems with a light heart.

“The linebell game is new and interesting that you don’t have to compete as a team or individual, and you can score multiple people by completing the quiz yourself. Also, the quiz was a content that could be easily matched by listening to a lecture by a celebrity, and it was fun because there was a nonsense problem. Problems with the Bible were a little difficult because I didn’t know much about the Bible, but I think it was good because there were problems that could be enjoyed easily, such as matching the capital name by looking at the beginning of the middle and following the famous lines. And most of all, it was fun to be able to win prizes through this game.” -Kwon Hee-yeon (2nd year of middle school)

▎ Happiness that comes when we are together

The reason this student camp was happier and more vibrant than ever was because students and teachers who first heard the news delivered the camp news and invited them. The students opened their minds during the four-day afternoon program, mind lecture, and invited celebrities, and had time to share their hearts and escape from the isolated mind.

“After hearing the news of the student camp, the academy invited five students I teach. I also participated in the program with the students and I was really happy to see them actively participate. The students said they liked the program and invited their friends. There are 12 children who applied for this camp. At the end of the camp, there were children who were disappointed that they couldn’t get the goods, while others were rushing to see if they wanted to do more, so I introduced the online Inseong Camp that will be held next week in Busan. I am so happy when I think that the children will be happy to attend Inseong Camp.” -Teacher Hye-jung Na

“I have been attending student camps hosted by IYF since I was a middle school student. When I heard the news that the student camp is going online this time due to the coronavirus, I didn’t intend to invite my friends to this camp at first, but I thought that if I camp online, my friends will be able to participate more easily and freely than offline. It. And this time, although it is a short time, I invited a lot of friends, thinking that my friends would be interested in seeing that there are a lot of various and fun programs prepared.”-Ji-Hyun Yoon (1st year of high school)

▎ “I got a change of mind through the mind lecture.”

As the main lecturers for this Camp Mind Lecture, Education Commissioner Oh Young-shin (High School) and Education Commissioner Jang Joo-Hyun (Middle School) delivered a message, and on the evening of the 9th (Sun), Pastor Ock Soo Park delivered a message to all participants as a special lecturer.

“I remember the Mind Lecture of Education Commissioner Joo-Hyun Jang at the Youth Camp the most. The Board of Education felt that people would not accept the Gospel even though they preached the Gospel in Israel, but he abandoned that thought through fellowship with Pastor Ock Soo Park. He told me. I am also busy avoiding this difficult situation or burdensome task, and even if I did it, I was hoping that I would not be bold, but struggled and passed quickly, but if I had the word of promise at that time, I would never be shaken and have a difficult situation. I thought I could have gone out. In the future, even if I face burdensome things, I think that I will go boldly with faith in the word of promise without avoiding it.” -Kang Hee-sun (3rd year of middle school)

Shin Yoon-mi is listening to the Mind Lecture
“Before attending the camp, I was having a hard time condemning myself as I saw myself not improving my grades even though I studied hard. However, listening to the Mind Lecture by Education Commissioner Oh Young-shin, the main instructor of the camp, gave me strength in my heart. The Board of Education said,’The change from the age of people working to the age of machines working is called the industrial revolution. Likewise, humans have a revolution. When it changes from the age of human working to the age of God working, it is called human revolution.’ As I listened to this, I saw myself failing so far and thought,’I shouldn’t have dreams. I was grateful to believe in God and take the time to prepare for the preparation.” -Shin Yun-mi (3rd grade high school)

Starting from this student camp, the hearts of the students who are on vacation are full of happiness and thanksgiving unlike other times. The experiences gained by sharing and interacting with friends through the camp changed the hearts of students living around the walls with gratitude. The teachers and staff together were also able to be filled with gratitude and happiness as they watched the students change. Following this student camp, each Busan branch’s Inseong Cam

“First of all, I would like to thank you for being able to participate in the 2020 World Camp. This World Camp has given me many opportunities to make a constructive change in my life. A woman caught in adultery while listening to lectures in the morning and yesterday evening. What I can confess is that through Jesus I was actually able to ask God to set me free, but I was living with a lot of guilt on my shoulders, and what I feel now is that I have a better relationship with God. is.”
